The peace agenda between Azerbaijan and Armenia is a bilateral issue, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said at a press conference summing up the year, Ednews informs.
The minister spoke about Russia’s important role in a trilateral statement signed after the 44-day Patriotic War: “Russia is a party to this agreement. The peace agenda between Armenia and Azerbaijan is a bilateral issue. If third parties are neutral and objective, we support it.”
According to the minister, Russia unconditionally supports the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan: “Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that Karabakh is the territory of Azerbaijan. Russia has always confirmed this position.”
