The second day of the forum, which began on June 24th and saw participation from up to 200 representatives of public organizations, featured panel discussions on "Environmental Impacts of Armenia's Mining Industry" and "COP29 and Global Movement for a Green Planet."

The map, prepared in three languages, also highlighted exploited and discontinued mineral deposits and pinpointed locations of plants contributing to ecological degradation, mainly in the Zangezur region. It was noted that effluents from these plants flow into the branches of the Araz River, posing a serious threat to the 23,000 inhabitants of the Sadarak region.
During the panel discussion titled "COP29 and the Global Movement for a Green Planet," moderated by Azar Allahveranov, member of the Azerbaijan National NGO Forum's Board of Directors, speakers including Shabnam Mammadova, founder of the "Smart Nation" platform and a member of COP29's Organizing Committee, Gulshan Akhundova, President of the "Women, Development, Future" Public Union, and Firuza Sultanova, President of the "EcoSfera Social Ecological Center," discussed factors affecting climate change and measures taken to mitigate environmental damage. It was highlighted that Azerbaijan's hosting of COP29 is a significant event, with discussions also touching upon green energy priorities in liberated territories like Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur. The importance of deploying next-generation technologies in residential areas was underscored.
Following the panel discussions, participants of the Azerbaijan NGO Partnership Forum submitted a joint appeal titled "Azerbaijan NGO Partnership Appeal for a Green Planet" to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The event concluded with a cultural program, marking the successful completion of the Azerbaijan NGO Partnership Forum.
