Today, a new organisation has been established in Azerbaijan - the "Azerbaijan - World International Scientific-Analytical Centre" Public Union.
Ednews reports that the Centre, which will act as a Think Tank, with the help of modern science to maintain stability and ensure the desired progress in Azerbaijan in the new conditions created by the current international events, especially the war between Ukraine and Russia, after the 44-day war in Azerbaijan. It was established to develop recommendations and implement local and international projects.
The centre will work on the basis of concrete initiatives to achieve national unity, more effective use of the potential of our intellectuals, increase trust between the government and society.
The new Think Tank will pay particular attention to establishing closer ties with various strata in foreign countries, especially with the scientific and cultural environment, and widely promoting Azerbaijan. The country will strive to protect human rights and moral values, prevent conflicts between different segments of the population, and establish harmonious relations. The main task of the Centre is to introduce Azerbaijan to the world through its history, culture, economic potential and to use the experience of advanced foreign countries in the development of our country, to promote the harmonious development of the country as well as to create a scientific support base that meets modern requirements.
Today, there is a great need for purposeful and serious activities of our intellectuals in the interests of the people for the progress of our country, the construction work in the liberated lands, the solution of humanitarian problems, the better promotion of our country abroad and in international organisations.
The centre unites well-known Azerbaijani and foreign-friendly scientists, public figures, diplomats, businessmen, specialists in various fields, diaspora activists, cultural and artistic figures working in our country and abroad.
The centre is to become an influential platform and institution in the South Caucasus and in the international arena. Besides that, it will try to expand its cooperation with similar centres in other countries. All research and analysis in the centre will be carried out on the basis of in-depth scientific analysis in accordance with modern standards. As an influential international organisation, it will organise discussions of the most pressing problems of our people and our time, and seek solutions to problems.
In the future, representatives of the Azerbaijan-World International Scientific-Analytical Centre plan to hold promotional meetings in the country's regions.
The first project planned by the Centre is to hold the International Zangazur Summit. The main goal of the project is to promote peace and stability in the South Caucasus, political stability, economic progress. It aims to direct the attention of the world community to our country, promote the establishment of harmonious, sustainable relations in our region and in the entire post-Soviet space. Finally, a serious platform will be created to open the Zangazur transport corridor.
Everyone living in our country and abroad, distinguished by his activity, reputation and attitude to our people, can contribute to the work of the Think Tank.
