UNDP Strategic Advisor Mark Buswell said in his speech that the United Nations Development Program is not the only organization operating in Azerbaijan in the field of demining:
"I would like to mention the European Union here. This project is an activity aimed at the safe return of IDPs to the demined areas of ANAMA. We consider the work done in the areas contaminated by mines to be an important priority."
According to him, one of the components is related to quality management together with ANAMA, processing of the data contained here, and their application:
"The second component is the formation of additional skills in the field of demining. The involvement of NGOs and women in this work is also commendable. In fact, this project is what we have done in advance. It is financed by the European Union. We are implementing it with our partner, the International Eurasia Press Fund."
