After the "resignation" of Araik Arutyunyan, the "head" of the so-called regime, the junta decided to hold "presidential elections" again. The first round of the "election" is planned to be held on September 9 during the extraordinary session of the "parliament". According to claims, Samvel Shahramyan, the "secretary" of the "security council" of the separatist regime, is expected to be elected "president" in the first round.
Umud Mirzayev, president of the International Eurasia Press Fund, who told Ednews about the issue, said that separatists have recently become active both in Armenia and in the Karabakh region:
"They have supporters from all sides. There are forces that help and encourage them both from inside and outside the country. All goals are aimed at preventing the establishment of peace and reconciliation in Karabakh and the opening of the Zangezur corridor. These days, Armenia is practically abandoning its partner, Russia, which created it, gave birth to it, and made it a country and a state. In my opinion, the reason for Armenia's conflict with Russia is directly themselves. Armenia is a state created by Russia as an "outpost". They have always used Russia's capabilities. For this reason, Armenia had to wait for Russia's position. But they turned against their creators."
According to U.Mirzayev, Armenians started making up imaginary dreams that Turkey helped Azerbaijan, Israel helped, and Pakistani army soldiers fought on our side in the 44-day war.
"This, as always, is their fabrication, with which they tried to justify themselves. Allegedly, they claim that why Azerbaijan was helped from everywhere, but no one helped us. In fact, they were not challenging Azerbaijan, but the world. They themselves provoked the start of the 44-day war and were defeated. That's why the separatists in Armenia wanted to send a message to the world about what kind of democratic country Armenia is with the election planning, including presidential, parliamentary, and mayoral elections. They supposedly approach events from the perspective of human rights. Holding elections is also a message to the international community. Although Armenians are under blockade, they are starving, they are dying, but they do not forget about democracy. Instead of finding a cordial relationship with their neighbors, they provoke people. They sit in the house we built with our hands and make up history for us."
The IEPF president believes that Azerbaijan will take certain steps in the separatist election issue:
"They forgot themselves. We have to intervene in these processes. We can use force if necessary. They need to realize that it is not the years before the 2020s. The circle and roads have already been closed. Samvel Shahramanyan is Nikol Pashinyan's man. Whether it's a lap or not, in both cases, Armenia's support is on them. There are issues of financial resources and certain ideological orientation. They are clinging to the skirts of Armenia. The separatists came to Karabakh from Armenia itself. Most of the people with separate heads are in Yerevan. They act on their recommendation. Pashinyan has no alternatives for today. There are also certain problems in his management. Pashinyan is losing his closest resources and comrades-in-arms with his wrong and failed policy. The end of Pashinyan is coming. The most dangerous thing is that the separatists may return to power. If Pashinyan does not take serious steps, if he does not strengthen his foundations, it will be difficult for him."
