British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak in a meeting with Chinese Premier Li Qiang expressed his concerns over potential Chinese interference in Britain's parliamentary democracy.
"I think the right thing to do was take the opportunity to engage, to raise concerns specifically, rather than just shouting from the sidelines," Sunak noted.
His comment comes in the wake of reported arrests of two individuals suspected of spying for China, one of whom was reportedly a researcher in the British parliament.
