As we reported, on October 21, a report and election meeting on the conclusion of the three-year work of the regional public organization "Dostlug" - Udmurtia Azerbaijan Public Center is being held at the People's Friendship House.
Ednews informs that Umud Mirzayev, president of the International Eurasian Press Foundation, delivered his congratulatory speech in the minutes leading up to the event. He first spoke about the activity path of BAMF and spoke about its creation:
"In the early 1990s, I founded the International Eurasia Press Fund with a few friends. Our path was very difficult, but we managed to do it. I wish everyone to move confidently towards the goals they set for themselves despite the difficulties. I congratulate my brother Zulfugar and thank all the guests who participated here. I think that nothing can be achieved in NGO activities if government agencies do not establish relations with municipalities.
The people sitting in the first row in the hall have put up lots of effort in this work. Our representative, Mr. Ali, also knows that I am a witness of how this "People's Friendship House" was built. I have met the late Mr. Volkov many times. I had an exclusive interview with him and it caused great resonance in Baku. I don't want to take up too much of your time. With your permission, I would like to say a few words in my native language:
"Dear friends, the public sector requires that you sacrifice something - your time, health, money. Sometimes people get tired in this work. It is not necessary to be tired. At the end of these works, there is definitely a great prize. Because these works are voluntary. Matters related to the volunteering are also controlled from above. I hold you in my arms. We have had victories as a result of such activities. I have had many trips. It is the first time that I am looking directly into your eyes. Thank you for today. Our victory is the result of such activities."
I express my gratitude to the leadership of Udmurtia.
Finally, I want to present my book "30 years for peace" to my brother Zulfugar. Although our village has been under occupation for 30 years, we have never called for war. We have always worked for peace."
