"Al-Jazeera" news agency prepared a reportage about the musicians who were forcibly displaced from Karabakh.
Ednews informs that reporter named Osama bin Javaid prepared a reportage with tar professionals in Baku.
One of them, a tar player and music teacher Mazahir Verdiyev, said that he wants to return to Jabrayil and continue playing tar and wants to pass his playing skills on to future generations:
"Unfortunately, we had to leave behind our all belongings. Despite all the difficulties we endured, after 30 years each of us wants to return to Jabrayil and rebuild our lives. I eagerly look forward to keep playing the tar there, to teach children and help them to embrace this beautiful art."
Musical instrument maker Samadov Musa talked about not being able to sell his instruments in Baku, but despite this, he expressed his desire to return to Karabakh and continue his work.
One of the musical talents of Azerbaijan Nigar Jamal, whose father was displaced from Zangezur, said that singers should help people heal and everyone should give peace a chance:
"Music is a very universal art. So we can reach, touch and share our emotions, pain and sorrow with the help of that."
