In a recent development, the observation team of the International Eurasia Press Fund (İEPF) has conducted a comprehensive observation in Tartar-Naftalan-Goranboy electoral district No. 97.
During the inspection, Ednews reported that a thorough examination of the photo stand at the precinct was carried out. The electoral district encompasses a total of 59 polling stations, with 52,553 registered voters. Among these stations, 1 was located in Agdara district, 1 in Sugovushan, 48 in Tartar district, 4 in Goranboy district, and 5 in Naftalan district.
Notably, precincts have also been established in Aghdara and Sugovushan, areas recently liberated from occupation, allowing voters in those regions to participate in the upcoming presidential elections.
Continuing their observation, İEPF observers turned their attention to Goranboy electoral district No. 96. A meeting was held with the district chairman, and scrutiny of the photo booths of the candidates took place within the precinct. The district comprises 59 registered stations, all situated in Goranboy district, with a total voter count of 49,429.
As the preparations for the presidential elections scheduled for February 7 progress, both district and precinct election commissions are adhering to the "Calendar plan" approved by the Central Election Commission.
In an effort to ensure a fair and transparent electoral process, booths have been established to allow voters to freely express their views. Designated spaces for displaying pre-election campaign materials on boards have been identified. The İEPF observers also noted the observation of posters featuring candidates participating in the presidential elections, propaganda efforts, and the overall pre-election activity of the population.
It is important to highlight that all İEPF surveillance personnel involved in these observations maintain a non-political stance.
Moreover, İEPF, recognized for its active participation in the formation of election coalitions in 2008 and 2013, has been selected based on its continued commitment to active involvement in elections held in various years.
