On the eve of the match with Arsenal on the final of Europe League in Baku, Chelsea faced bad mood in the team. The coach of the team Maurizio Sarri left the stadium frustrating.
60 years old coach threw his cap on the ground and moved into tunnel angerly. The altercation between David Luiz and Gonzalo Higuain led outburst of Sarri.
Sarri's strong emotion occured not only for bust-up between players but also N'Golo Kante's stop of training because of injury concern.
“Maurizio’s frustration displayed at the end of training was not related to any of his players,” a Chelsea spokesman said, Express reported.
Sarri thinks that Kante's injury is not a big problem which can lead stop of training.
“He had a little problem on Saturday, a very little problem with his knee,” Sarri said.
“It’s not really a very serious injury."
He also didn't know Kante will appear in the match or not, “He is 50/50 at the moment.”
“For me, at the beginning of the season, it was really very difficult to understand my players, to understand the mentality. But, after a very difficult month in January, in February they started to change. Or probably I changed, I don’t know. In this moment I love them because I have 20-22 wonderful men and wonderful players. So now I’m really very happy with them. I have to consider the future. And I have to consider that I love English football, I love the Premier League,” Sarri said, The Guardian reported.
He also didn't exclude to renew the contract to 2021.
Today, the final of Europe League Chelsea-Arsenal will be held at 23:00, UTC+4, in Baku.
