President of the European Council Charles Michel has been invited to the UN Climate Conference - COP29 scheduled to be held in Baku in November, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Belgium, Head of the Mission to the European Union Vagif Sadigov posted on X in this regard, Ednews reports.
"I am grateful to Ms. Magdalena Grono, Senior Foreign Policy Advisor of the President of the European Council, for today's comprehensive discussion of many issues on the EU-Azerbaijan agenda, during which I had the honor to transmit the invitation letter of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to President Charles Michel to attend COP29 in November in Baku," the post noted.
