Manchester United are pushing to land Dybala from Juventus in a swap deal that would see Romelu Lukaku move in the opposite direction, Express reports.
Lukaku has had enough of life at Old Trafford and is keen to leave the club following Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's decision to place his faith in Marcus Rashford in the No 9 role.
Dybala is wanted by Solskjaer as part of a deal and now, writing on his website, Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla claimed the Red Devils are pushing to finalise a deal
He claims that United held talks with Dybala's agent, Jorge Antun, and are willing to pay the Argentina international a a salary of £10million a year.
That would make the Juventus star one of the best-paid players in the Premier League.
And the report also claims that United are expecting to secure the signature of Mario Mandzukic, who would also be included as part of the Lukaku swap.
On Sunday, Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici will meet with United in a bid to close the deal.
And it appears that things are proceeding well for the Red Devils, who would love to make both Dybala and Mandzukic their latest recruits of the summer.

Premier League ace Stephen Kelly believes Dybala should be deployed in the middle of the attack, rather than on the wings.
It has been claimed Solskjaer sees the 25-year-old as a player who can thrive on the wing.
But Kelly has doubts, saying: “They’re not going to have that ego because they haven’t warranted it yet.
“If Cristiano Ronaldo’s in your team, you’re going to get the ball to him because he’s going to score you goals. That’s what you do, let’s face it.
“Whereas if you have Martial, Rashford and Dybala, on paper that looks very good, it looks like a good front three.
“It looks like there’s goals between the three of them, it’s not just focused on one player.
“But if you’re going on last season, it’s not been his greatest role [on the right side].
