World number one Carlos Alcaraz beat Daniil Medvedev on Friday, triumphing in a three-set match to earn his spot at the Wimbledon's finals, where he is set to face the 23-time Grand Slam champion, Novak Djokovic.
The Spanish tennis player showed dominance on the court by clintching first two sets with a commanding score of 6-3 against Medvedev, pushing ahead of the Russian player in the third set after winning three consecutive games. However, Medvedev soon broke Alcaraz' lead by scoring remarkable two games, narrowing the score to 2-3.
Nevertheless, the 20-year old Spanish tennis star regained control to bring the final set score to 6-3.
