The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) announced on Wednesday that Turkey withdrew its bid to host the Old Continent's championship in 2028, leaving the United Kingdom and Ireland's joint effort as the only candidate.
The organization added it received and approved the joint candidacy of Italy and Turkey to stage the 2032 edition.
The respective hosts of the European Championships of 2028 and 2032 will be officially announced on October 10.
