FIFA may allocate financial resources for football infrastructure in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, Ednews reports via "Anadalu Agency" that it was said by Elkhan Mammadov, director of European National Associations at FIFA.
According to the Azerbaijani football functionary, implementation of this support within the framework of the "FIFA Forward" program is on the agenda in the future.
"Within the framework of the project established in 2016, 211 national associations that are members of FIFA have been assisted in the amount of 2.8 billion dollars so far. In addition, the necessary support will be provided for the sports institutions of the countries whose football came to a standstill during the wars," said E. Mammadov.
