Porto boss manager Sergio Conceiçao is now on Serie A giants Milan’s shortlist of potential managerial options, Ednews informs via One Football.
Current manager Stefano Pioli seems set to exit the club in the summer and Milan fans have protested against the potential appointment of Julen Lopetegui. It seems as Conceicao has emerged as an option for the club.
La Gazzetta dello Sport state that after Mark van Bommel, Paulo Fonseca and Roberto de Zerbi, Conceiçao is now also on his shortlist. Conceiçao would be interested in potentially managing at the Rossoneri and his agent Jorge Mendes is already said to be in contact with the club’s executives. The Portuguese would be more interested in joining Milan than staying at Porto.
He has been linked with multiple other clubs in recent months and has previously drawn interest from Inter and Napoli. He has turned Porto into a regular presence into the Champions League and they recently gave a difficult time to Arsenal as well.
