The U.S.-backed YPG/PKK terrorist group has occupied a town in Syria's eastern Deir Ez-Zor province, according to local sources.

Following eight days of clashes with the Daesh terrorist group, YPG/PKK terrorists managed to take control of Al-Susah town late Monday, the sources said.

In last weeks, YPG/PKK captured Hajn city, the main stronghold of Daesh in Deir Ez-Zor, as well as the towns of AlbkKhater, Albuhassan and Al-Shaafa and Al-Kashma area.

Meanwhile, Daesh remains in control of Al-Baghuz town and other uninhabited areas in Deir Ez-Zor and Homs provinces.

Hundreds of civilians have been killed in US-led coalition airstrikes on residential areas that fall within Daesh's control, according to local sources.
