On abortion laws

Trump expressed displeasure over progressive abortion legislation enacted by states like New York and said that these laws "would allow a baby to be ripped from the mother's womb moments before birth". He was cheered on by the conservative lawmakers in the house.

However, Trump received widespread criticism for his comments. US Senator Kamala Harris asked Donald Trump to not tell women what to do with their bodies.
