The novel coronavirus is moving beyond the borders and the panic among people growing day by day. Coronavirus has become not only an internal matter of one state but has a global character. Ordinary people, political figures, and analysts are trying to find an answer to how and why this virus attracted global attention and reaction. Who stands behind the novel coronavirus called COVID-19?

Some people think that the virus is made as a biological weapon and it is prepared at a laboratory. Nevertheless, there are no exact proofs for such ideas. If there are no solid proofs, so it is a good situation for conspiracy cultivating the mind.

Before COVID-19, scientists alarmed about climate change which is bringing the end of our planet silently. However, big companies and authorities didn’t make enough effort to prevent this challenge. We always think that who gets many benefits he stands behind the occasion. In this term, let’s not blame each other, because the main winner of the pandemic is our planet.

The growing number of coronavirus cases and deaths forced authorities to take strict measures like suspending flights, closing workplaces, setting quarantine on cities. All the steps changed our daily life dramatically. The fear of immediate death forced people to endure changes and pause their habits. These steps directly influenced positively to nature.

Climate change is getting worse

According to the World Meteorological Organization, previous years have been the hottest years ever. 2019 broke all sorts of records growing temperature, melting ice especially in the Arctic and rise in carbon emissions. The biggest emitters are China and the US which together contain 40% of global carbon emission.

Not only governments but also individuals play a great role in terms of preserving nature. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change advises that people should avoid some of their habits. Using electric cars, banning business travels and using videoconferencing and in a word decreasing carbon in every consumer product can be implemented by individuals.

The scientists consider that even if we go on the right path to prevent climate change, the high temperature will not diminish significantly by the end of the century. Devastating fires in California and then Australia, record flooding in Europe and Asia is an indication that the process is getting worse.

How Earth get benefit from COVID-19?

The information given above explains the situation obviously that pausing some of our actions and habits and somehow it also helps to change the course of climate change. It indicates how much mankind damaged the earth in previous years.

The solution given by IPCC is followed today but not for preventing climate change or concerning it, just to protect their lives from the virus. Quarantine regime obliged people to reduce the usage of cars, flights and the work of factories is limited.

According to the BBC, traffic downed 35% and gas emission reduced 50% in New York. It is happening in other cities also. China is the biggest emitter of carbon but energy use and emission dropped 25% in China this year, Carbon Brief reports.

The quarantine regime all around the world significantly influences climate. Air pollution drops in northern Italy. The level of Nitrogen dioxide pollution generated by car engines and plants decreased in China and Italy during this year.

In a word, quarantine is absolutely working for our planet. The Earth is resting from mankind pollutions and cleaning itself.

Some people think it is a political game, unfortunately, scientific figures and authority members are among them. Until finding solid proofs, we shouldn’t use our efforts to find who stands behind, we should find the solutions on how to overcome.

Coronavirus showed us the path of how to fight against global challenges together. Whoever says it is just impossible, the way the world demonstrates now is the key to the solution to global problems. Throughout history, especially in the last two centuries, we humans polluted and damaged our planet seriously for our comfort. But, we shouldn’t forget that these actions are making us lose our planet and if we lose so we will not have a place to live. In this condition, comfort doesn’t matter.

Mother Earth is taking revenge from mankind for their actions against it. The most interesting moment is the justice of the planet. COVID-19 is punishing people without discrimination, we could see some famous people and politicians among the infected and dead people. If we put aside all the conspiracy theories, Mother Earth is the causer of the virus shaking the world.
