The popular face of Kanal 7 screens the theologian writer Omer Dongeloglu was announced to have positive coronavirus test and remained under treatment at Bashakshehir Hospital.
The Turkish media outlets reported yesterday the Theologian Writer Omer Dongeloglu, who was treated for a new type of corona virus passed away in the hospital.
Relatives took the funeral of Ömer Döngeloğlu from the morgue of Bashakshehir State Hospital to the cemetery.
The funeral of the deceased was buried in Edirnekapı Cemetery after the afternoon prayer.
Omer Dongeloglu was born in Zile, Tokat in 1968. He completed his primary education in Zile Altunyurt Primary School and Zile Imam Hatip High School. Later he graduated from Sakarya University Faculty of Theology.
He worked as an Imam-Hatip in his hometown Tokat between 1986-1996. He worked in various administrative positions for many years in the public sector. He has spent years for researching, studying, reading Islamic history and Siyer-i Nebi (a scholar about Prophets).
