The Elysee Palace confirmed on Thursday that France and China signed multiple cooperation agreements in the energy sector during the state visit by President Emmanuel Macron to Beijing.
Ednews reports citing Telerader that the presidential office added that French utility company EDF and China's second-largest power utility CGN reached a deal to renew cooperation on nuclear power, while EDF also separately signed an agreement with China Energy Investment for collaboration on wind energy projects.
Next to this, China Aviation Supplies Holding ordered 160 Airbus aircraft while the planemaker also confirmed agreeing to establish a new production line in Tianjin near China's capital.
