The International Eurasia Press Fund (IEPF) informed the international community about the detention and inhumane treatment of two Azerbaijani soldiers by Armenians.
Dutch writer, representative of the International Eurasia Press Fund in the Netherlands, Henry Van Rens share his opinions on it:
“I was a little bit shocked this morning when I saw the video clip about the kicking on somebody's head and that somebody was an Azerbaijani soldier who was captured, they lost the way. Normal people would not do this but only animals all people who have brains in the wrong place they're sitting on it I mean they don't think with it.”
“It is really terrible that the last few days there were some accidents that soldier from Azerbaijan was killed other people were torture it and talking about torturing I saw the last two years in Karabakh everywhere there was misunderstanding probably in the Western World so what are we doing in Azerbaijan. What we're doing is trying to tell the people in the Western World what the Western world at this moment is a lot of pro-Armenian countries and groups and also political issues talk about Armenia as they are a saint now. What I saw they are not Saints at all”, a Dutch writer noted.
According to him, it was really a terrible thing that's what he wants to say for now:
“I mean it is really bad to think about that time back the IDPs, the people who got killed in Khojaly. Who says something about it in the Netherlands nobody because it's too far away from there and because there's far away from the Dutch government didn't say anything about genocide and I hope one day the Dutch government will say yeah we have to recognize it. Before I don't believe in them. I hope that there will be peace and that will be very soon.”
Dutch writer spoke about his book which is writing on Azerbaijan history:
“My book will not only be about Karabakh but it will also be a little bit about the history of Azerbaijan. Because the people in my country don't know anything about Azerbaijan. I try to put them a little bit forward to see what kind of War it is and also Karabakh what happened over there. It is really important for me to show the people in my country not only my country, but everywhere what is going on, and some people say no it can be not that, not bad like that, yes, it is bad because I saw it, I saw what happened and sometimes it was really hard to look to it you have to turn around. Because you cannot see all the problems that were going on out. There also is for the IDPs over one million had to flee from their own country in their own country because some other country they thought could be a great Armenia like Hitler told before like Napoleon told before all the things again we can make a great country, anyway they failed.”
Soldiers of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan - Babirov Agshin Gabil (born in 2004) and Akhundov Huseyn Ahliman (born in 2003) who went missing due to limited visibility because of the poor weather conditions in the border area of Shahbuz district of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic with Armenia were detained by Armenia.
In one of the videos spread on social networks, cases of physical torture and inhuman treatment against the captured Akhundov Huseyn Ahliman were depicted.
