Russian Foreign Ministry said on Friday that it sees the need to increase Russia's tactical missile potential, including in the exclave of Kaliningrad. Ambassador-at-Large Grigory Mashkov said Russia must "stockpile missiles in advance to effectively respond to any security challenges," especially medium- and longer-range missiles, Ednews reports citing AP.
"We are witnessing a missile arms race with hardly predictable consequences. Tens of billions of dollars are being invested in improving missile technologies. This process is becoming uncontrollable," Mashkov said.
