Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky after a meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Saturday expressed Kiev's willingness to assist Canada in extinguishing wildfires, which have scorched nearly 11 million acres of land, Ednews reports citing Pravda.
"Ukraine is ready to help extinguish fires if Canada needs such international assistance," the leader said.
Canada is currently dealing with 425 fires, with rescuers still working to contain the spread of fire in nearly half of them.
