Assistance provided by Lithuania to Ukraine is 1 billion euros, the Ministry of Economy and Innovation of the Baltic republic said, Ednews informs via TASS.
"It is estimated that the total value of military, humanitarian and financial assistance to Ukraine has reached 1 billion euros, which is 1.42% of Lithuania's gross domestic product," the statement said.
The military supplies to Kyiv made up most of the aid. As Defense Minister Arvydas Anusauskas noted, the amount of military aid that Vilnius has sent to Kyiv since the beginning of the Ukrainian crisis exceeds 450 million euros.
