Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman spoke over the phone with Russian President Vladimir PUtin on Tuesday and expressed his support for the Russian government following the Wagner Group rebellion.
"In connection with the events in Russia on June 24, Mohammed bin Salman Al-Saud expressed support for the measures taken by the Russian leadership to protect the constitutional order, the life and security of citizens," the Kremlin press service said in a statement after the phone call.
The two officials also discussed the further development of cooperation between Moscow and Riyadh.
