A United States federal judge sentenced on Friday Patrick Crusius, the man who killed 23 people in a shooting at a Walmart in El Paso, Texas, to 90 life terms in prison.
Earlier, Crusius pleaded guilty to 90 charges, including hate crimes and firearms offenses. He could also face the death penalty in a separate state case in which he pleaded not guilty to capital murder.
The shooting took place in 2019, after which Crusius confessed his intention was to kill Mexicans.
