"Sweden's position of supporting close relations between the EU and Türkiye is well known to everyone," Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson told journalists before Vilnius summit, Ednews reports.
"We are now promoting closer economic ties, modernization of the Customs Union, better visa regulations for Türkiye. I believe that there are fertile conditions for closer relations with Türkiye," Kristersson added.
Prime Minister also responded to the question to Hungary's ratification of Sweden's membership in NATO.
"I recently contacted the Prime Minister of Hungary. His statement gave me confidence," Kristersson said.
