Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev called on Monday for the destruction of the "top leadership of terrorist formations" following the suspected Ukrainian attack on the Crimean Kerch bridge. The strike resulted in two deaths and was reportedly carried out by the Ukrainian Navy and secret service.
"World and our own experience show that it is impossible to fight terrorists with international sanctions, intimidation, or exhortations. They only understand the language of power. Only personal and completely inhumane methods," Medvedev said, adding that those methods include "blowing up their own houses and the houses of their relatives."
