Member of the North Korean State Affairs Commission (SAC) Kim Yo-jong stated on Monday that the intercontinental ballistic missile test last week is "only" a "beginning" of Pyongyang's military offensive, urging Washington to refrain from "foolish acts" that could undermine its stability.
"We are ready to resolutely respond to any act that violates state sovereignty and territorial integrity, threatens the well-being of the people, and destroys peace and stability in the Korean peninsula," Kim said, slamming Washington's claims that North Korea is not engaging in the dialogue. "This is a trend that reflects the nervousness of the US after witnessing what they fear the most," she said.
United States National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan previously expressed concern that North Korea could conduct a nuclear test.
