Wagner Group founder Yevgeny Prigozhin made on Wednesday his seemingly first public appearance since the unit's alleged mutiny as he reportedly addressed some of the organization's members in Belarus.
"Welcome, guys! I am happy to greet you all. Welcome to the Belarusian land! We fought with dignity! We have done a lot for Russia," a man resembling Prigozhin and addressed by his first name and patronymic, Yevgeny Viktorovich, said in the video shared on the group's affiliated Telegram channel and later on the military man's own page.
"We are getting ready, we are raising our level and on a new path. Perhaps we will return to SMO [special military operation in Ukraine] at the moment when we are sure that we will not be forced to shame ourselves," Prigozhin reportedly stated.
