Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced on Thursday that his country will get $8 billion through various World Bank and International Finance Corporation (IFC) programs to facilitate its recovery from Russia's military operation.
"Discussed this at a meeting with @anbassani [World Bank Vice President for Europe and Central Asia Antonella Bassani] and @agarmora [IFC Vice President for Europe, Latin America and the Caribbeans Alfonso Garcia Mora. @IFC_org is also preparing a programme to support SMEs [small and medium-sized enterprises]. Grateful to the partners for the timely steps," Shmyhal tweeted.
The prime minister added that both of the organizations have reopened their offices in Kiev.
