German government delays sending military aid to Ukraine, Ednews reports citing Welt.
According to the source, official Berlin announced new military aid of €2.4 billion to Ukraine ahead of President Volodymyr Zelensky's visit to Berlin in May and is delaying the delivery of that military aid package.
Welt stressed that Ukraine has not yet received the four missile defense systems it was supposed to acquire in addition to the two "IRIS-T" systems it has already received.
Since May, none of the 20 "Marder" armored vehicles, and 12 of the 18 "Gepard" self-propelled anti-aircraft complexes have been sent to Ukraine.
