An earthquake of magnitude 6.1 struck the province of Santiago Del Estero, Argentina, on Saturday, according to information from the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
The epicenter of the quake was recorded at a depth of 598 kilometers and 115 kilometers southeast of the provincial capital, home to some 252,192 people.
No casualties or damage were reported.
