At least ten people have been injured following a 5.4-magnitude earthquake that jolted eastern China on early Sunday morning, state media wrote. The tremor is said to have been followed by 52 aftershocks.
Roughly 70 houses have collapsed in Dezhou, Shandong province on the Yellow Sea, the media reported, adding that train traffic has been halted in the region. According to the reports, the earthquake was also felt in Beijing, but no damage or injuries have been reported in the country's capital.
The United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported that the tremor occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers.
