Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev accused on Wednesday the West of having no interest in achieving peace in Ukraine because its plan is to capitalize on the conflict.
"They want to continue spinning the military flywheel in order to earn money for their budgets ... [F]or them, this is a way to earn a huge amount of money by supplying their equipment to Ukraine," Medvedev said at the Army-2023 event.
Still, he insisted that the Western military aid failed to help Ukraine launch a counteroffensive since Russia's army learned how to defend itself from that technology.
