Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin said on Monday at a press briefing that the country has decided to scrap the remaining COVID-19 test requirements for visitors.
Starting August 30, visitors coming to China will no longer be required to take pre-entry COVID-19 nucleic acid or antigen tests.
Back in May, the World Health Organization (WHO) proclaimed that the virus no longer poses a global health emergency.
