Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov dismissed on Monday the implications of a possible revival of the Black Sea Grain Initiative after a ship docked in Odessa since February 2022 reportedly left the port for Bulgaria.
Speaking to reporters at a press conference, Peskov said that the ship left the port for Varna as per the agreement made while Russia was still a part of the initiative. "This has nothing to do with the prospects for resuming the grain deal," he stressed.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov reaffirmed that Moscow will not return to the agreement if its requirements are not fulfilled.
