White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said on Monday that white supremacy has "no place in America."
Speaking about this weekend's racially-motivated fatal shooting in Jacksonville, Jean-Pierre stressed that US President Joe Biden pointed out that Americans must "refuse to live" in a country where black people "live in fear of being gunned down because of the color of their skin."
Over the weekend, a white man killed three black people before fatally shooting himself when police arrived at the scene of the crime. The perpetrator is said to have used a gun with a swastika painted on it and to have left behind racist messages.
