United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres told reporters on Thursday that the letter, about the Black Sea Grain Initiative he sent to Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, contained a "set of concrete proposals."
Guterres insisted that it is "extremely important" to revive the agreement. He went on to say that any renewal of the deal must be "stable, without crisis or suspension."
Previously, Lavrov and his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan, held talks, in which the former reiterated that the head of Russia clearly underlined in the past what is needed for the country to return to the initiative.
