Federal prosecutors are seeking that United States President Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden, be indicted before September 29, a court filing showed on Wednesday.
"The Government intends to seek the return of an indictment in this case before that date. Thus, the Government does not believe any action by the Court is necessary at this time," Special Counsel David Weiss' office said in the filing.
Previously, Hunter's plea deal related to tax evasion and armament possession fell through and he decided to plead "not guilty."
