United States House of Representatives Committee on Oversight and Accountability Chair James Comer predicted that a House vote about launching an impeachment inquiry into US President Joe Biden would happen in mid-September.
"I do believe that we have the votes for impeachment inquiry" and "that it passes," Comer told Newsmax in an interview.
"This is all up to [House Speaker] Kevin McCarthy," Comer pointed out, adding that McCarthy had spoken to House Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan and him several times about the topic.
