A 6.0-magnitude earthquake was recorded in Halmahera, Indonesia, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC) showed on Monday.
According to the center's information, the quake struck at a depth of about 163 kilometers, with an epicenter some 39 kilometers north-northeast of Ternate, home to over 101,000 people.
There is no reported damage, and no tsunami alert has been issued.
