White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre confirmed on Friday that the White House will establish the Office of Gun Violence Prevention.
The office will be overseen by United States Vice President Kamala Harris and led by Stefanie Feldman, a "longtime policy advisor to [US] President [Joe] Biden on gun violence prevention," Jean-Pierre told reporters.
"Leading gun violence prevention advocates" Greg Jackson and Rob Wilcox will serve as deputy directors and Feldman will be the director of the new office, according to Jean-Pierre.
