Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs announced on Tuesday that it arrested Milan Radojicic, alleged leader of the armed group involved in the latest tensions in the self-proclaimed Republic of Kosovo and former vice-president of the Serbian List.
According to the ministry's statement, the police raided Radojicic's apartment and other property and put him in police custody for a period of 48 hours. "He was brought to the Higher Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade with a criminal charge," the ministry said.
Last week, Radojicic admitted that he organized and led the group of about 30 ethnic Serbs who clashed with Kosovar police, causing the death of one policeman and three Serbian civilians.
