Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman stressed on Friday the importance of finding a long-lasting solution to the question of Palestine's status and proposed making the territory a state with borders established following the 1967 Six-Day War.
Speaking at a joint meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in Riyadh, he also urged "ending military operations against civilians and infrastructure in Gaza."
The day before, the crown prince met with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, who, according to 10 Downing Street, "encouraged" him "to use Saudi's leadership in the region to support stability, both now and in the long-term."
