Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev said on Friday that the world, "led by the United States, continues to slide into the deepest abyss." He criticized United States President Joe Biden for calling aid packages for Ukraine and Israel a "smart investment that’s going to pay dividends for American security for generations," claiming that such statements are proof of an "accelerated rotting of the very fabric of Western society."
Medvedev condemned the West for its attitude toward Palestinians, alleging that Western leaders see them as "terrorists" who should be allowed to "die by the thousands." He claimed that "the intifada will last forever," using the term referring to Palestinian uprisings, warning that "the quantity of weapons supplied will sooner or later turn into quality" and provoke a nuclear conflict.
