First trucks delivering humanitarian aid started their journey through the Rafah border crossing, between Egypt and the Gaza Strip on Saturday, various media channels reported, with Egyptian state TV broadcasting the live footage.
Hamas's media office said earlier in the day that the relief aid convoy encompasses 20 trucks "that carry medicine, medical supplies, and a limited amount of food supplies."
According to CNN, as soon as all 20 vehicles passed through to Gaza, the crossing was closed.
