Canadian Defence Minister Bill Blair (pictured) said that the Canadian Forces Intelligence Command (CFINTCOM) determined that Israel was not behind the attack on the Al-Ahli Arab hospital in Gaza that caused over 400 fatalities.
Blair claimed that the "more likely scenario" is that the rocket that the hospital was hit by an "errant rocket fired from Gaza."
The comments echo those of several other Western countries, which have expressed support for Israel amid its conflict with Hamas, including the United States and France. Meanwhile, Palestinian authorities accused Israel of "intentionally" targeting the hospital.
