USGS5.3-magnitude quake shakes Alaska
A magnitude 5.3 earthquake struck Alaska, data provided by the United States Geological Survey (USGS) showed Saturday.
The quake occurred at a depth of 52 kilometers south-southwest of Covenant Life, Alaska. No casualties have been reported at this time.
The event was followed by smaller aftershocks of magnitude 2.9 and 2.5 in the same area.
